28 February 2012 - 8:13Back to my Roots
As I’m sure you will know if you’ve been reading this blog, today, I’ll be a guest DJ on a local radio show. I haven’t done this since college, where I had a metal show. This was before there was even a thing called “internets”, which is too bad, because I think I probably could have had a different profession in life if I had a larger audience. The show was always a lot of fun, and I thought I was pretty good at it. I lost the tapes years ago, but I remember listening to them for years after my stint as DJ. They were quality.
Music has always been a really important part of my life, and I’ll be playing some of the songs from my youth, along with a couple of new favorites. Lot’s of people claim metal cred that they don’t really have, but I assure you I am 100% authentic. I had the hair and the high tops with tongues of power to prove it.
I’ll be steaming over the internet world wide, so make sure you tune in today at 2:30 EST to listen, you won’t be disappointed. The name of the show is If I Can’t Dance, it’s Not My Revolution. Click the link, turn it up and rock out. And, as this is also a fundraising time for this little station, if you are feeling generous, donate, a little goes a long way.
We’ll get back to bikes tomorrow.
