The Ardent is the newest addition to Maxxis' all-mountain 29er line. With an aggressive tread in high-volume casings, the Ardent was designed with great traction in mind. Large block-style side knobs offer numerous edges for high-speed corners. But they were also thinking about racers with the center tread. While it was designed for braking and accelerating traction, the center tread also features ramped knobs to minimize rolling resistance.
