Niner Bikes has released an updated version of the full-suspension RIP9 for 2008. The R.I.P. 9, Ride In Peace, features 4.5" of fully active, plush travel. Changes for 2008 include a strengthened tubing, new seatpost size, new cable routing and new price.

The RIP9 features Niner's CVA, Constantly Varying Arc suspension design. Designed to isolate pedaling forces completely, there is no pedal induced activation of the suspension system in any gear. Suspension remains fully active and compliant on every bump, from the smallest ripples to the biggest hits.

• Specially valved Fox RP23 rear shock
• Plenty of mud clearance for even the widest 29er tire
• Sealedcartridge bearings in all pivots
• Internally butted head tube and bottom bracket
• Reamed and faced head tube and bottom bracket
• Reamed seat tube for an easy, out-of-the-box build

• Requires a 30.9mm seatpost, 350mm length minimum
• 34.9mm top pull, bottom swing derailleur
